Let’s look at what to drink and what not to drink.
Most people don’t even know that when they feel hungry, they may actually be dehydrated and they are really thirsty, not hungry. Water is remarkable as well. Over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water. This is also why water plays an important role in weight control.
Drink Plenty of Water
It is recommended that you drink 8 glasses per day, but that may take you some time to work up to. Your body needs a whole lot of water. Water doesn’t just flush all the toxins out of your body, but it makes you feel better and healthier. When you drink a lot of water you just begin to feel fit and this is the motivation you need to lose weight fast.
Here’s a couple of tips about drinking water. It might be a little more expensive but buy bottled water. It’s super convenient and you will get the recommended servings per day. Look at it as an investment in yourself. Start your day off with a bottle of water (an easy 16 oz. or so). This will help your body to get started and kick your metabolism in gear.
Drink water before and during each meal. This will help you feel fuller and you won’t eat as much.
Stay Away From Soda
You can lose weight fast just by cutting soda out of your diet. Or if you can’t do that switch to diet. But remember that diet is still soda and it has other components in it that are not good for you.
Watch Out For Fruit Juices
Fruit juice is loaded with sugar. Instead squeeze some fresh juice.
Limit Tea and Coffee
Unless it’s herbal tea or decaffeinated coffee drink a limited amount of tea and coffee. They are caffeinated and caffeine will dehydrate your body. Make sure to drink plenty of water to make up for drinking tea or coffee.
Say No To Alcohol
Alcohol beverages are not exactly good for you and most are just fattening. Beer is especially fattening. Cocktails are fattening depending on what they are made of. For instance, rum and Coke. The rum may not be fattening, but it does have calories, and the Coke definitely is. The overall combination is just not a good one.
Try these few changes in what you drink and watch the weight fall off.
